Transfer Guides

We work with other colleges to make transferring easy.

If Loras does not have the exact equivalent to the course you are looking to transfer, the credits will count as electives. Certain AP, IB, and CLEP exam scores will also be granted academic credit. Unfortunately, transfer credit cannot be granted for any course with a grade lower than a C- or for remedial or technical courses.

Apply Today

Transfer applications are accepted during fall and winter terms on a rolling basis.

Straight Talk from a Duhawk

I chose Loras because of the sense of community. It was a change from a big city to tight-knit Dubuque. Being on campus during my college visits gave me the feeling that this was home and that I belonged.
